Besides the aforementioned projects, Mr. Blai has developed and managed his family orchards throughout almost three decades, since 1994. These orchards with total area of 220 Ha include olive, almond and hazelnut plantations.
In addition, he has experience in sourcing of nuts in Caucasus area, Turkey and Ukraine, since 2012 till present.
In 2010 he collaborated with Caro Nut (Candor AGS group, based in CA, USA) for sourcing Marcona almonds from Spain.
In 2014-2015, Mr. Blai with Caro Nut Georgia has made due diligence for second biggest retail company in United States, in Far East region of Russia, for pine nuts.
Nowadays, Mr. Blai also collaborates with international Investment funds to evaluate their potential or existing agricultural projects.
• International consultancy as a consultant in agricultural project development in Morocco.
• Agriculture project in Spain and in Portugal that belongs to Hong Kong investment fund, Almond projects in Spain and in Portugal – surface 2000 ha, Due Diligence for the new projects;
• USA based investment fund Due Diligence for the projects: for almond surface of 5000 ha and pistachio surface of 1000 ha, located in Spain and in Portugal.
