Blai Llort found out about Georgian Hazelnuts.
Its uniquity made him decide to visit Georgia.
2013
In February, Blai with US based Co-founder Candor AGS founded Caro Nut Georgia.
In May Caro Nut became member of INC.
In August we made our first export of hazelnuts in Spain.
2014
New markets opened in Germany.
First visit to Russia for Costco’s pine nuts project.
Actively started visiting international exhibitions in EU.
2015
Added new customers in Netherlands, France and other EU countries.
Added Azerbaijani hazelnut origin.
2016
Historically, First ever export to USA of Georgian Hazelnuts by our company.
In November we participated in food ingredients exhibition Paris, France (SIAL).
2017
Export of Ukrainian walnut to Germany.
Started preparation for our own big processing factory in Georgia.
2018
New origin: Turkish organic hazelnuts export to USA.
In December Caro nut Georgia went on standby mode due to stink bug issue.
2019
In January Agro origins was founded.
All Caro Nut Georgia team core members stayed on board with Agro origins.
In March Agro origins added Agro consulting as extra service.
First countries who used our services were Spain and Portugal.
2020
Our exports lowered quiet a lot due to pandemic, still managed to continue export to EU and to USA.
2021
Added new product: Cocoa beans.
Actively work on project evaluations and agricultural & industrial project design for huge international investment funds.
