Blai Llort
Our agricultural projects management experience traces back to almost three decades, when Blai Llort graduated Agricultural Engineering in Barcelona School of Agriculture Engineering in 1984. In 1989, Mr. Blai successfully implemented mechanical pruning system for almonds for the first time in Europe. Afterwards in order to develop and strengthen his knowledge he continued studying in U.C. Davis, California, USA. He mastered courses of Crop Management, fertilization and irrigation requirements from 1998 to 2001.
In 2001 Mr. Blai elaborated chemical formula to resolve the apical black spot in walnuts along with Jose Maria Sau, who was his teacher and mentor during his staying in USA.
Mr. Blai has led lots of projects in different parts of the world as a freelancer for big companies.
In parallel he has developed and managed his family orchards throughout almost 3 decades since 1994. These orchards with a total area of 220 Ha including olive, almond and hazelnut plantations.
